Sinéad Keogh is a multimedia performance installation Artist and Curator with a MFA from NCAD (National College of Art and Design) in Dublin. Through the use of synesthetic installation, the artist balances ideologies of intensification of the senses leading to immersive and often emotional experiences communicated through dance, character performance and synched video to sound. The core of these experiences lies between simultaneous storytelling and experimental abstraction exuding surreal fantasy. Keogh's practice undertakes conceptions of Gothic resplendence, fantasy narratives, desire and gender presentation / manipulations as a form of gender alchemy. Catalysts for Keogh's practice include the Irish landscape, Greek mythology, folklore and queer feminist histories. Keogh has had many exhibitions in Dublin institutions such as The Broadcast Gallery, IMMA, and The Lab and exhibited internationally in New York, Italy and New Zealand. Keogh has been commissioned for organisations such as BIFPA and The Bram Stoker Festival.

Keogh is also the founder, Director and Curator of Soul Noir: Festival of the Dark Arts, a Dublin based festival for the Gothic and alternative arts (2017 – present). In Keogh's curatorial practice, the aim is to enlighten and empower audiences and awaken them to countercultural, underground and alternative voices that are not often heard in the mainstream arts scene. The engagement with artists is represented in a genuine, authentic manner while balancing a larger system of expanded programming and community engagement as means of breaking down barriers with larger audiences. A strong vibration of feminism is also present in this curatorial practice and Sinéad is a vocal ally for audiences and creatives who are blind and visually impaired. Keogh has worked with artists ranging from emerging artists such as Bassam Al - Sabah to cult experimental film artist Vivienne Dick to iconic feminist performance artist Pauline Cummins.
